A top award winning digital marketing agency is on the lookout for a talented Social Media Manager with a Media
planning/buying background.
The Social Media Manager will run and lead the social media division - devising social media strategies for famous
well-known brands, implementing integrated social media strategies with multiple client stakeholders including marketing,
customer services, PR, brand etc.
Salary: 28-33k + benefits
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness and
encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company's
products and services
* Work with the teams to ensure social media is integrated in other marketing activities carried out by the agency
* Manage the progression of team members and accounts they work on
* Proficiently manage client accounts and maintain good relationships with the client
* Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial,
community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
* Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on
relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
* Manage Facebook advertising campaigns and implement and develop strategies
* Manage Blogger outreach programmes and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company
* Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on
effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
* Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
Experience and skills include:
* Media Planning background
* In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg,
Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
* Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain
relationships
* Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
* Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
* Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO
* A natural affinity for engaging via social media.
* Strong creative thinker whilst also being very results and data focused
* Experience in creating social media strategies for well known brands
* Experience in a range of web analytics tools and social media tools.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
