The Role

If you are a graduate or equivalent with a marketing/business related degree and/or CIM qualification this will be an advantage, although not essential. You will combine creativity with outstanding communication skills and competence with all MS Office applications. Ideally, you will also be familiar with email deployment software such Maxemail or Smartfocus. The successful candidate will be someone with plenty of initiative who works well under pressure and can hit tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to fit into a close-knit team of other professionals are also important attributes.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - MARKETING EXECUTIVE
First and foremost, you’ll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to build credibility and relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels. You’ll be highly energetic, engaging with a wide range of audiences, communicating events and concepts with intelligence and insight.

A strong track record of successful management of major marketing events is essential and you’ll need to be able to demonstrate working knowledge of digital marketing methods too. Ideally you’ll also be experienced in the digital agency field, but training will be provided in this area if you’re the right person.

Educated to degree level in marketing, PR or a similar subject, you’ll have experience of proof reading and editing copy for publications and a good understanding of PR and marketing methods. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines whilst under pressure is also essential.

With a positive can do attitude and a strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix, you will have the ability to put together marketing plans and measure success.

A strong people person who thrives in a changing environment, you will have experience in line management and coaching coupled with good delegation and excellent communication skills.

This is a full time 9 month maternity contract role and is not purely office based; a significant time will be spent travelling to head office in Bournemouth, around the developments in the Midlands region and visiting agencies, therefore the willingness to travel is a must.

Previous property marketing experience would be desirable, however this is not essential.
