Marketing Assistant / Marketing Trainee

Property development is at the heart of their business, but as the needs of their homeowners have changed, they have developed other services designed to provide homeowners with a greater life in later life.
With this in mind, they are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the Midlands regional marketing team.
Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation of professional displays in 3rd party outlets, drafting and sending CRM mail shots, collating briefs for leaflets and literature and providing support with events.
As Marketing Assistant, you will also organise signage for the business, carry out base price reviews, liaise with suppliers and provide pre-marketing and ad-hoc admin support to the team.
This is an exciting role for an individual who would relish the opportunity to gain experience in a busy marketing department.
The successful candidate will be of graduate or similar calibre coupled with a full clean driving licence.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Graphic Designer who has true creative streak and some marketing exposure.You will need to be able to create designs using a PC/Laptop and will need to be fully proficient in Photoshop and Adobe In-Design.
Duties/Responsibilities:
·Creating Multimedia Presentations, which will need to be fully compatible with iPads, iPhones and Tablets as well as PCs/Laptops.
·Producing PowerPoint Presentations which stand out from the crowd and show how professional the company is as they will be used by Sales Team when pitching for new business as well as updating existing clients.
·Ability to make complex and in-depth information graphically pleasing
·Updating and maintaining the company websites, to include both image selection and content.All development can be completed by the IT Department if required.
·Producing general marketing material including e-shots.
·Managing social media networks.
·Case Studies, working with the assigned Project Manager you will be responsible for identifying critical dates within the Project for Photography (Start, Mid Point & Completion). This role will involve some travel to take photos, you may also be working on more than one Case Study at any one time.
·Liaising Magazines to ensure projects receive positive exposure and further increase the company’s profile within the industry.

They are now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Midlands regional marketing team.
Providing a bridge between the central marketing team and the region and taking the lead on local lead generation activity, you will support the regions CRM plans and provide consultancy on difficult site reviews in order to incorporate fresh perspectives and new ideas.
Overseeing the development of the Marketing Manager’s regional marketing plans to ensure fit with the group wide marketing plans, you will work with the Marketing Managers to develop and monitor pre-marketing strategies, ensuring all group-wide ‘national‘ initiatives are briefed into the region in a timely and correct way.
Driving a programme of continuous evaluation and improvement in all marketing activity, you will become the key point of contact within the marketing team for all activity plans, develop and launch best practice marketing toolkits in the regions and actively seek out cross-region territory opportunities to improve the impact and cost effectiveness of our marketing communications activity.
Working with the marketing manager to agree and monitor marketing KPI’s for the Midlands region, you will oversee the management of the regional CRM marketing budget to ensure all activity is on budget.
With previous experience in a marcomms role, you will ideally hold a degree in Business Studies or Marketing and / or hold a Professional Marketing qualification. With a positive can do attitude and a strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix, you will have the ability to put together marketing plans and measure success.
A strong people person who thrives in a changing environment, you will have experience in line management and coaching coupled with good delegation and excellent communication skills.
This is a full time 9 month maternity contract role and is not purely office based; a significant time will be spent travelling to head office in Bournemouth, around the developments in the Midlands region and visiting agencies, therefore the willingness to travel is a must.
Previous property marketing experience would be desirable, however this is not essential.
